Biography
Louise Makum lived in New York long enough to know she always had to return. She loves to travel and get new ideas about shape and color. She worked with an interior design artist and was intrigued by computer structures. A background as an oil painter kept her focused on her hand and brush. She lived in Pennsylvania for a number of years. Nature moving threw cycles gave her ideas about her art. Life drawing classes brought home the organic form as a deeply human connection. Over the years she reconciled organic and geometric shape into a partnership. A private person she seldom shows her art. She continues to travel but maintains that art is the greatest voyage.
