Biography
Annette Volinair discovered art at a young age. Her mother encouraged her curiosity. Her father provided a telliscope. She made paintings from sand and pebbels on long afternoons at the beach. Eventually seeing the paintings of Steve Armatige, she made a connection into a language she could call her own. Pointillism and some of the impressionists also validated her idea that everything was made up of groupings of patterns.
