Statement
"What are the patterns of life? Where is the sisterhood between a sandy beach and the Milky Way? These questions have led me to intersecting patterns. My pictures are an investigation of a universal expression. My art is a gesture of intelligence reaching into the galaxy. Shape is a minimal variation making directionality of a flock of color, a school of strokes. Look into the stars long enough and you find a sandy beach. Look into a gran of sand deep enough, you find the stars. This is my work."
